Today in “The Cube”: Learn BA methods for that BI initiative

A business analyst has many tools available to model data requirements.  Visio is popular.  Some databases like MySQL have built in modelling functions. And yes if you are in a hurry you can probably use the clear side of a napkin.

Many methods can be used to build concepts and logical models to visually represent the structure and relationships of classes of data to business users and IT.

Learning the methods, models and techniques to work in data projects, like business intelligence initiatives, is the motivation behind Smoothcube’s development of a course on that very subject.

The 2-day course is IIBA endorsed which means 15 PDUs/CDUs are granted to business analysts pursuing their certification or needing continuing professional credits to sustain their certification.
